It seems as though there are fewer and fewer places that one can get news that is accurate. Even what were the most reputable sources seem to have fired their fact-checking departments. The worst part of this is that, since the advent of social media, everyone is quick to spread information and before long the lies or misinformation is everywhere and it’s hard to find the truth.

Well, here we are in the 3rd week of the new year and the first tech challenge has reared its ugly head. Funny thing is, I was just reading not to long ago about a similar situation and had one of those "That'll never happen to me" thoughts run through my head! Bottom line: Always, always, ALWAYS make sure you own and manage your own domain names!!

At the opening of every Troop meeting the Boys Scouts recite the Boy Scout Oath and Law. This is their Code of Ethics. This is what every Scout learns and what we as leaders hope they live by. The Code of Ethics post I recently submitted got me to thinking ... if we as REALTORS (heck, we as people!) would take a cue from this simple Law we could throw out the COE and this business (and the world) would be a much easier place to function in. life lessons: Happy Father's ... uhh ... Flag Day? - 06/18/07 03:39 AM
My other full-time job is as the Committee Chairman for my son's Boy Scout troop here in Palmdale, CA.  We were asked by the local Elk's Lodge to assist in their Flag Day ceremony today.  They needed 8 of our boys to be a color guard as well as carry 8 of the flags our country has used over the years while a history of our flag was presented.
Now, I've only been in this troop since March as my son and his patrol just bridged over from the Cub Scouts and it seems like since joining, we've had something going … (1 comments)
