asheville conservation real estate: Waterfall 1031- Asheville Style - 07/01/11 09:03 AM
Asheville Real Estate- Land Journal Not long ago, a 1031 Like-Kind Exchange client traded her beachfront resort condo with its cumbersome property management responsibilities, for the relative freedom of a land purchase. This was a sixty-plus (60+) acre tract. It was endowed with amazing and very obvious natural features. She found it attractive not just for the beauty, but for the freedom. Here she can hike, camp or simply sit quietly observing the star-studded night sky. She is free to go, unencumbered by HOA dues and property management expectations, with a simple picnic basket to enjoy the waterfall. (see photo) To watch (2 comments)

Asheville NC Real Estate. Numerous amazing real properties qualify as outstanding natural areas. You can even "adopt" a small piece of land while you consider making a home on the land. (see below for details.)We admit it. We simply are unabashed land lovers. As Land Specialists, we are excited about the idea of stewardship of the Land. asheville conservation real estate: Land Lore - Land For Sale By Owner - 01/10/10 09:36 AM
Asheville, NC January , 2010 Exploring LAND in the Asheville area mountains is always exciting. It is particularly so in the winter after a snowstorm. But, when land is for sale by owner, my curiosity propels me. Add in an element of anticipation and you have a very alluring adventure. Yesterday I ventured out to see if I could get a few winter shots of such a property.Traveling east from Asheville, I turned the volume up on Kathy Mattea's Definitive Collection CD . She was singing, "...I'll be halfway to Asheville...." It's been awhile since I've seen Carolina, it always was pretty (4 comments)

MAPPING ASHEVILLE DEVELOPMENT --Asheville, NC- June , 2009 I got an email from a dear friend and client this morning. Looking at this from various perspectives (see photo of my pal the "green muse of Asheville looking at future growth)I find I have several answers for her. Here in (3 comments)

Jessica and Paul arrived at our offices in a downpour. Still, they were laughing as we greeted them at the door. It's been raining for a week here in Asheville, but they didn't seem to mind at all. As consulting REALTORS® my team and I have become eco-friendly resources for our clients. We offer objective fiduciary counsel . asheville conservation real estate: Asheville "Scene " Around Town Photo Series: The Pond, The Poet and the Photographer - 03/14/09 08:36 PM
I happened on this scene unexpectedly. Grabbing my small camera (I keep it in my pocket most times) I held my breath and hoped I could catch this moment....there was the pond deep in the wooded acreage we were scouting for our clients...and there was a photographer, obviously caught in a curious pose, and there was the poet...on the spot...and ready to to tell us later of the rhythms of life to be found near our small corner of the world....
