It's baseball season again! And once again, THE Asheville Tourists are creating energy all around the bases down at McCormick Field. The park opened in 1924. Since then, keeping a tradition of sustainable practices much admired here in Asheville, it has been renovated twice, once in 1959, and again for the 1992 season. McCormick Field, which seats 4,000 fans, is within walking distance of a friendly (and yes sustainable) Asheville neighborhood.
