When it gets very humid out, and there is AC in your car and in the house, pack a cooler in your car to keep your camera at a median temperature. Otherwise your lens will fog up, condensation will get inside your camera and well... as i'm sure you can imagine it's just not good for your camera. Also, keep your batteries cool and dry. I bought a car charger for my batteries on ebay for $5 - it's been well worth it! I charge it up between shoots and never have a dead battery. I have one for the AA … (10 comments)

Watercress Salad with Lime Dressing 1 bunch watercress, trimmed and coarsely chopped 4 sprigs fresh mint, chopped, 2 tablespoons A handful of flat-leaf parsley, chopped 1 heart of romaine, coarsely chopped 1 ripe lime, juiced 1 teaspoon sugar 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, eyeball it Coarse salt and pepper Combine watercress, mint, parsley and romaine in a small salad bowl. Combine lime juice and sugar in a small dressing bowl. Whisk oil into lime juice in a slow stream. Pour dressing over the salad and season with salt and pepper, to your taste. … (1 comments)

Ingredients:
· 2 large heads Romaine lettuce
· 4 tbsp egg substitute
· 1 large garlic clove, peeled, sliced in half
· 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
· 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
· 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
· 1/2 tsp salt
· 1/4 tsp fresh cracked pepper
· 1/2 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
· 3 slices whole wheat crusty French bread cut into 1 inch cubes
· 1 tbsp garlic olive oil

A great way to serve tropical summer fruits!Needed:Wooden SkewersSpray BottleAssorted Tropical FruitsAgave NectarToasted CoconutLime JuiceWaxed PaperAssembly:Soak wooden skewers in water for about an hour.Line a pan with waxed paper to place the skewers on.In a bowl mix 1/4 cup Agave nectar (available at healthfood stores) 4 Tablespoons warm water, 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice. Nothing like showing properties while fighting off buggies! Want to keep pests away without being stinky with bug spray? I can help! I plant lavender and citronella plants around the yard to keep bugs at bay and they work well. Good tip for home owners in buggy areas. Essential oils such as Lavender, Tea tree oil and Citronella from the stone root, Collinsonia canadensis can be worn on the skin and in hair to effectively keep mosquitoes away.
