I had the beans, I had the rice and tortillas but no meat to go with the burritos I was going to make for my boys and husband.
Then I remembered I could purchase a full mesquite grilled tri-tip roast for $26.00 at Dukes Mesquite Grill.
I could take it home and slice it into burrito ready pieces!
I think it weighed almost 3 pounds and they really liked it!

Temecula Winter Weather is anything but frightful! In fact the song should go as follows when in Temecula..."Oh, the weather outside is sunny, warm and bright", ~ instead of frightful.
Where else can you ice skate outdoors and have the sun shinging in your face as you walk around in a sleeveless tank top and shorts! Temecula that's where!
Temecula hired a company with a big truck to create an ice rink right in the middle of Town Square!!!
The ice rink will be open until January 8th, 2012!!!

Leonesse Cellars - in my opinion, is one of the best wineries in Temecula.
The atmosphere of Leonesse Cellars, is that of a secluded countryside winery, even though it is not far from the Town of Temecula. It is less known than some of the Rancho California Road wineries, which is actually a plus for me.
And even though it's location toward the end of De Portla Road, is much less traveled than the Rancho California Road wineries, Leonesse is almost always extremely busy, (especially on the weekends).

This Fruit stand has local fruit from a family owned and operated business. When I pulled up to this stand which is located on Rancho California Road just past Butterfield Stage, a very nice and friendly young man was right there to assist me. I love seeing a family oriented business where the kids help out and are held responsible for managing part of a family business!
This Temecula Fruit stand, had the first of the season strawberries, and a great variety of fresh farm grown produce, and fruit right off of the citrus trees!

Sunday Afternoon, I went to Old Town to meet a friend and found a great new Restaurant, The Edge Restaurant and Lounge! It's located on Old Town Front Street at the corner of 5th, this new eating establishment has something to please everyone:
Part lounge/sports bar,
part fine dining and
part sidewalk cafe.
..............When we entered "The Edge", we were greeted by Taryn, who offered to give us a tour. Here's her picture in front of the indoor water fall!
