I have a ready, willing, able, excited, QUALIFIED buyer who has not been able to find what she wants.  Admittedly she has only been looking a few weeks, but she already made an offer on the first one she saw and it didn't work out through no fault of her own. Beware Apartment Rental Scams in Los Angeles - 11/08/10 10:27 PM
I received a call today, as I often do, for the Park Wilshire. My name comes up when someone Googles several buildings on the Wilshire Corridor.
The person asked me if I was the leasing office. The Park Wilshire is a condominium building so there is no leasing office. When I asked why she was calling she said she was inquiring about the 1 bedroom lease for $1,200.
There are no 1 bedroom leases and if there were they certainly wouldn't be $1,200 they would be more like $3,000. She thought there was something strange.

All the conversations lately about QR, schmoo R, codes, whether we should use them, where we should use them, how we should use them, has had my head spinning.
Understand that I am extremely susceptible to new technology.  I have got to have the latest of everything, and I am not dummy when it comes to implementing most of it.  But there has to be a limit.

What would I do with $220 in savings?  It doesn't sound like a lot does it.   It is only just over 7 weeks worth of cappuccinos.  It is only 10 movies. Maybe 5 rounds of golf.....

The points Deborah makes below bear serious consideration.  Buying down your mortgage instead of asking for a purchase price reduction is going to give you more buying power and long-term savings.
