I believe I am one of the few Realtors in Los Angeles who has a niche market, in the Los Angeles area, assisting care providers establish community care facilities.  There are Realtors and companies that sell medical buildings and facilities as well, but do not have the knowledge base for the licensing requirements or regulations imposed by Community Care Licensing and Regional Centers.  I have heard horror stories of facilities being closed down and clients removed from the homes because the new buyers of the facility were not properly instructed on how the process works when a new owner takes over a business

Prior to becoming a Realtor, I worked with San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center, as a social worker, coordinating services for individuals with developmental disabilities.  I was presented with an opportunity to work on a state grant project, 2 years, to downsize residential care facilities, 15 beds or more.  Along with a peer, who worked in the Resource Dept., creating new homes and programs for the developmentally disabled,  at Regional Center, we created our own business.  We successfully opened 8  Adult Residential Facilities(ARF) with the grant project and have helped many other care providers/potential care providers open their own facilities as well.  Our motto "Beginning to end and everything in between" truly exemplifies who we are and what our clients obtain from us.  Through the whole buying and licensing process(part A and B), they receive plenty of guidance, support, training, and knowledge regarding policies and procedures.  We have also established Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly(RCFE) and Group homes.
