Hopefully you have bought within your budget and you are set to enjoy your first home.

Many people have trouble hanging pictures on their walls. More often than not I see prints hung too high. There must be a lot of very tall men out there.
 
                      
 
Artwork should be grounded by the furniture below it. Experts say 56" is the magic number. The center of the piece should be 56" from the floor. If a print is 24" tall, you divide by 2 and get 12". I learned this phrase when I took a course to become an Accredited Staging Professional.
 I think it is one of the truest staging phrases.

Flow? That refers to your colour scheme and furniture placement.
Many newer homes are open concept. Designated areas need defining but doing this with paint can really chop up the house making it feel smaller. It can also be difficult to decide where to start and stop the colour. The best answer is to create a neutral envelope. Bring in your colours by using art work, cushions, throws etc. Keep the colour of the flooring neutral as well.
