As midnight approached the box alarm was sounded for an apartment fire at 4014 Hallman Street with reports of fire in the basement.  Rescue Engine 433 was the first to arrive and reported a two-story apartment building with smoke from the Charlie Side.  As they stretched a line to the rear they noticed a walk out basement with a dryer on fire.  The fire was contained to dryer with minimal extension.  Units were held as the complex was charged with smoke.  Battalion 443 (Ciarrocca) has the Hallman Street Command. Engine 403 was filling Station 15 during this incident.
