Yesterday, at a Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Progress Through People Luncheon, Brigadier General Jeff Phillips cheerfully spoke about the great relationship between Fort Stewart and Hinesville, GA; as well as the plans for the 77,413 Troops and families. "Hinesville is a warm and friendly place for military families to live," General Phillips said that is what Washington told him when he received orders to PCS to Fort Stewart. Those words are now General Phillip's personal belief after he has lived it for himself and why he now calls Hinesvlle his home.
