I have started this blog post about 3 or 4 times now and stopped each time.  I had this idea in my head that my "end of the year" post needed to be SPECTACULAR!!!  I thought about writing a post about what I have learned in my first year, then I thought about writing a post about my ups and downs this year, or how about a year in review?  Oooh... how about a post about my new years resolutions???
Then I thought...  NAH.

THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!!  They are at the office, at home, even in my car (How did they get there?  HMMM)!!  Then my wife tells me that she is going to her mom’s to BAKE COOKIES ALL DAY!!!
Time for me to stop fighting the cookies.  I just hope that by the end of the day I don’t turn blue and start screaming

Fun in the snow in Fort Wayne!!! - 12/19/09 04:03 PM
We only got about 2-3 inches of snow here in Fort Wayne, but that was enough to have a little fun!  What is more fun than playing football in the snow?  Maybe building a snowman?  In our case it was more like an Insect Snowman!

Not quite sure what possessed my son and I to do that, but it was fun!

Mike and our "creation".  Of course we had to destroy it, but the pictures are WAY TOO GRAPHIC for a family site like Active Rain.  Lets just say that the insect snowman is NO MORE.

What a difference a year makes! Fort Wayne Winter Snow instead of ice. YES! - 12/19/09 10:22 AM

This is my favorite tree in my back yard.  Here is a picture of it last year right before Christmas when the huge ice storm hit.  We lost power for 4 days and ended up in a hotel for that whole time.  Right after the ice storm hit temperatures dropped to 1-5 degrees with wind chills that hit -40.  Talk about a miserable time!!!
 

This is the same tree this morning.  AAAAAHHHHH....  SNOW and 33 degrees!  I'll take it!!

Would you hold an Open House during the Colts game? - 12/17/09 07:05 PM
Obviously we don't have open houses on the weekend of Thanksgiving and Christmas and a few other Holidays, but do you ever schedule your open houses around sporting events?  We are Realtors here in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and we have noticed that when we have an open house at the same time that the Indianapolis Colts play things are a little slower.  Coincidence?  Maybe.
If you live in Nascar Country do you have an open house the same Sunday that they run the Daytona 500?  What if the Chicago Cubs actually made it to the World Series and had game 6 … (6 comments)
