Price: This is a tough one. If you want your home to sell in today's real estate market, it needs to be priced right.
I wish I could sell your $150,000 home for $200,000 just as bad as you do... but it ain't happenin. This isn't 2005 anymore.

We got a call the other day from a potential buyer. He asked if we were available later this week to show him a few homes.
After asking our standard questions (Are you working with a Realtor®? Have you been pre-approved with a lender? How much wood can a wood chuck chuck?) and a few others, we determined that this guy was a legitimate buyer.

I (Jared) showed a couple some houses in Fort Wayne on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Wednesday we found a very nice home that they decided they wanted. The kitchen was fantastic, the living room and family room were spacious, and the bathrooms were just right!
There were a few negatives. The size of the master bedroom was a little smaller than they wanted and the backyard was also smaller than they liked. We decided to think about it for a day and then go see two others.

In my short but fun 2 year career in real estate I have worked with about 20 different lenders in the Fort Wayne area. Most of the transactions have gone smoothly, and most of the lenders have done a decent job.
3 of them have really stood out and I have chosen to grow those relationships. The first 2 lenders do a great job, give great customer service, and I would highly recommend them, but it has been a 1 way street.
