I was reading an article on FortWayne.com this morning about the local GM Plant. It looks like the Cash For Clunkers have really put a more positive outlook on things for General Motors, Inc.
GM announced Tuesday that it will add 60,000 vehicles to it’s North American production schedule through the end of the year.
GM Vice President Tim Lee said the workweek at the company’s Allen County assembly plant will be extended from four days to five to make it easier to add overtime.

My first dog as a child was a black lab named BLACKY (original, I know)
She saved my life one day by attacking a rattlesnake that was coming after me on the swingset.
She got bit but was eventually okay.
I'll never forget her.
My second dog was a Norweigian Elkhound named KORO.
She was a real sweetheart of a dog. Very timid but VERY protective.
She used to circle the perimiter of the front yard when my younger twin siblings were outside...

These last two weeks have been so busy that I haven't sat down and blogged at all. I didn't think much of it but yesterday when I googled "Fort Wayne Realtor", "Fort Wayne Real Estate" and "Fort Wayne Homes For Sale" I didn't see our site on the front page! I know it's more than just blogging but I don't think it's all coincidence.
From her on out I am going to set aside 2 hours a week to work on the blog and more SEO and fresh content. Look out FRONT PAGE... HERE WE COME!!

What an incredible week! We have been running and running and running and running… and I love it! We have picked up a few new buyers this week, plus a few new listings, it’s just crazy!!!!
We had a pretty cool experience with a buyer this week. “Tom” came into town for a few days to see some houses, then was planning on coming back in a few weeks to look at more and then make an offer. Well… we showed Tom and his girlfriend 8 houses and the last one we saw was exactly what he wanted. EXACTLY!

Monday and Tuesday were office days, full of setting up showings and hours on the phone with new and past clients and following up with many many things.
WEDNESDAY
Showings with our new client "M". Showed 5 houses and she is interested in 2. We are going to do another search and show her a few more houses and then she is ready to make an offer.
THURSDAY

This past week or so has just been NUTS! The closings keep piling up, the buyers keep coming out of the wood work, and the blogging just has NOT been getting done!! Trust me, I'm not complaining.
The very last flip that we started last fall is finally closing on Friday. It has been a LOOOOONG journey with that one and can't wait to hand over those keys to the new owners.
We have picked up FOUR buyers in the last FIVE days, all pre approved and ready to go. I love first time home buyers!!!

I used to have a blog when I flipped houses and let me tell you… it was OUT THERE! It was an almost daily account of my struggles and successes. I talked about finding deals, knucklehead contractors, disgusting things we found in the houses we looked at, and many other things.
Since I became a full time Realtor I have been a little more careful about what I blog about. I make sure to keep the language clean (most of the time!) and mix up the topics between Fort Wayne real estate and some funny stories here and there.
