New Short Sale Timelines
I was working on a resource guide for our buyer's agents and buyers of our short sale alike and wanting to give them some more specifics than just the usual 60 days and get into some bank specifics. After reviewing our data from doing Atlanta Short Sales, I was very impressed to see that Timelines have sped up significantly!
I was pretty impressed that Citi Short Sales got even better! Suntrust also made huge improvements!

If you're shopping for an Atlanta Home For Sale, then you've likely noticed that their are other people looking at the same homes for sale that you are looking for. It's not just Atlanta, or the common favorites of Alpharetta Homes or Lawrenceville homes, but high end properties like Sugarloaf Country Club are experiencing major uptick in interest and overall traffic.

Buford, GA is working on a new deal on a new Community Center designed to out do Suwanee’s own city center. This development should also keep more locals, well, local instead of feeling like they need to go to Duluth’s Gwinnett Center to host reunions, conferences or just large birthday parties.
"It'll be something similar to Suwanee's Town Center, but we hope to improve on it and make it bigger and better," said Phillip Beard, chairman of Buford's City Commission. "We've got the old downtown and now we're going to have the new downtown."

The Atlanta Braves have signed a multi-million dollar deal for naming rights to the Gwinnett Braves ballpark in Lawrenceville.
The 16-year deal with Coolray Heating and Cooling will ultimately mean the county will get about a $4.5-million share over the life of the contract, county officials said. The deal also settles a more than year-long effort to sell the naming rights to the $64-million, publicly-financed structure.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Gwinnett County's contract with the Braves calls for the club to receive the first $350,000 annually paid in naming rights, the county to receive the next $350,000 … (1 comments)

As I was driving to my appointment this morning I heard a radio ad from the Atlanta Journal, Metro Atlanta's most read newspaper, about their home classified section. I had just attended a presentation that told me that AJC's numbers were dropping in terms of readership and that their website was picking up, but was still not a destination.
I'm sure this new ad campaign is designed to generate more traffic, and more advertisers.
