It may not look it, but Jackson County is growing in leaps in bounds. Just think back two years ago and no one had even heard of a city that sounds like you are clearing your throat (Hoschton).
Now, Hoschton is home to the fastest selling neighborhood in the Atlanta Area (Village at Deaton Creek).

Reunion subdivision in Hoschton, GA will be holding it's annual Fall Festival with games, prizes, a chili-cookoff and all kinds of local vendors to check out. Tickets are $1 or 25 for $20.
Reunion subdivision by John Wieland has over 400 residents now (with 850 planned) and is in the heart of the Gwinnett, Hall, Jackson and Barrow county lines. Just outside of Braselton and down the road from Village at Deaton Creek, Reunion has that "neighborhood" feel.

On August 24th, Nateja competed in her first ever pageant along with 191 Atalnta area teens and at the end of the day the 17 year old was named, Miss Teen Atlanta.
According to Glenn Matlock from the Neighborhood News, Nateja is a top student at Mill Creek High School, located in Hoschton, GA.
Her parents drummed into her head that if she wanted to succeed in America, she must first get a good education.

Hoschton, a city of confusion for even wikipedia, is located in 4 counties, including Gwinnett, Barrow, Jackson and Hall. Mill Creek High School, thought to be in Dacula by many locals, known as the "Hamilton Mill High School" as well, is actually in Hoschton, GA. For instance, although there is an active HOA there is no hardline person measuring your grass height. Oh and if you ever decided to sell your home in Coles Pond, your agent could represent you easily by putting a sign up (not the case in Chateau Elan).

Move over Grayson, Hoschton is now Gwinnett's best kept secret. If you do a search online for Hoschton Homes for sale, you'll likely be told all about how it's in Jackson county and your kids will go to Jackson County schools, even Wikipedia in all of it's wisdom has it wrong.
Hoschton is located in 4, yes, 4 Counties. Hall, Jackson, Barrow and Gwinnett all have some land in Hoschton. What many don't realize is that on of the best school districts in the state, the Mill Creek High School cluster actually has a Hoschton address.

Trilogy Park is an oustanding alternative to Sterling on the Lake and Hamilton Mill. The same builders, less amenities, but the same schools and not the monster neighborhood at under 500 homes.
Currently, there are 36 homes for sale in this Trilogy Park with an average price of $364K. However, that's only half the story, as the price range is from $299K, to the low $400's.

Hoschton is a small relatively unknown city to the north of Dacula and a few exits up from the Mall of Georgia.
Active Rain is so good that merely mentioning Hoschton in a few posts allowed me to get number 12 without trying. Of course, Hoschton Real Estate and Homes for sale are keywords that are not contested, but it speaks to the power of AR.
