reo: CDPE - Certifiable Distressed Property Egomaniac - 09/03/09 06:09 AM
I'm really not sure what goes on in the CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) class.  I've heard the class is excellent.  So good in fact, that some agents I know are taking it twice.  I think that's just great.  I really wish I had time to go, however, I'm pretty busy managing 30 or so short sales at time.  Those pesky closings get into the way.

The "F" word has enticed many buyers to look into this avenue.  I get requests daily to look at foreclosures.  Corporate, Bank owned, investor owned, REOs all can … (0 comments)

October 5th, 2007
Atlanta Business Chronicle announced today that 1 in 5 homes for sale in Atlanta that are sold are Bank owned.  What's the sudden increase of solds from Bank owned properties?  The banks are getting agressive.
To understand the agressive nature of what the Atlanta Business Chronicle means you have to understand the economics of a sale.
Value is when condition and price meet.  Right now, in the Atlanta Real Estate Market, the top 10% of homes are selling.  If 20% of those homes are bank owned, then what must a seller do to compete.
Up until recently bank owned … (4 comments)
