If you have been to Myrtle Beach you are probably familair with Plantation Lakes. Plantation Lakes has been one of the exclusive Carolina Forest communities. The large system of ponds is big enough that Pontoon boats are allowed in it. A few years ago Plantation Lakes was the place in carolina Forest everyone wanted to live.
Now that the market has softened Plantation lakes foreclosures have become a lot more common. With homes starting in the mid $200s Plantation Lakes is a lot more affordable. A few years ago it was difficult to find a lot on a pond for $200k.

We keep getting asked about Myrtle Beach Condos for rent weekly. For anyone that doesn't know Myrtle Beach's busy time of year is coming up. Our tourist season really starts picking up in March and April and gets really busy in June, July and August. The peak tourist season corresponds with the public school summer breaks.
