real estate: Do You Ever Miss Your Clients Once the Transaction Has Ended? - 11/05/11 11:43 AM
Recently, I helped an older lady sell her north Austin home so that she could move closer to her family elsewhere in Texas. She was referred to me by an agent in San Angelo. He mentioned that she was recently widowed. I had a little trouble connecting with her initially, which was my own mistake. Basically, I waited an extra day to call her. By the time I did call, she was concerned that I might not want to help. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. During our first in-person meeting, we really hit it off, and I

real estate: What Motivates You? A Quick Look at How I Got into Real Estate - 05/24/09 10:44 AM
Not long ago, I was speaking with a friend of mine, and I explained to him that one of the quickest ways to get me to do something was to utter one of the following phrases: "Jason, you won't be able to do that." real estate: Real Estate From the Mind of the Consumer - 06/16/08 11:13 PM
My business partners and I have been looking for office space for a month or so now. Today, we were scheduled to meet our agent at one building, then tour about four or five after that. He

real estate: Round Rock - Pflugerville Market Report - 08/13/07 01:55 AM
According to the Austin area MLS, the average price in the Round Rock area increased by $16,273 for June 2007 from the same period last year. For Pflugerville, prices increased by $17,748. For both areas taken together, there were 69 fewer homes sold for June. June was slower overall for Austin's market, primarily because of the near-constant rains over the past 60 days. Large projects in Austin are behind by 45 days or more. Hopefully, the selling season will extend longer than average this year, since many potential buyers delayed purchasing while waiting for the weather to abate. Austin Texas Real Estate Round
