The Mountain Laurel Center for the Performing Arts in Bushkill, PA is back after being closed for the last couple of years. They made an announcement today with several acts lined up already including the legendary rock group KISS who will open the center on July 13. I had the pleasure to attend two events at Liquid within a week after never having been there before. When you have a young son, drinking establishments are not usually on the menu. However, Liquid is a lot more than just drinks although it isn't a "family" restaurant per se. Now the drinks, especially the martinis, are fantastic. I had a "Chocolate Covered Banana" martini that was delicious. It tasted just like a chocolate covered banana. As a steakhouse afficianado - I know when the ribs are put before the steak in the name, where the emphasis is on. Not that the steak selection was bad (they do use wet-aged steaks- I am a dry aged steak lover), but I was there for the ribs. My wife went for the sliced prime rib sandwich which she did enjoy.
