March 2012 Edmonton Real Estate Market
The Edmonton real estate market has continued to climb higher price wise for single family detached homes as well as duplexes.  Condos actually slipped a little in March. 
Single Family $380,083 up from $375,268 in February Condo $231,629 down from $234,973 in February Duplex/Rowhouse $319,020 up from $306,491 in February The number of properties for sale in the Metro Edmonton market has grown, which it always does in the spring. The current level of inventory sits just under 7000 properties.

The Terwillegar South real estate average sale price per square foot has just exceeded the Edmonton average this first quarter of 2012.  The Terwillegar South area has always been close to the Edmonton average selling price per square foot, but has never exceeded it in the last 3 years. It will be interesting to see if Terwillegar South can continue to stay above the Edmonton average sale price per square foot as we move further into 2012. Visit Terwillegar South Real Estate for more detailed sales statistics including an average sale price graph.

The Idylwylde Edmonton real estate average sale price per square foot has been on a steady incline throughout 2011.  This is not too surprising as it borders on to two popular areas, Holyrood and Bonnie Doon.  The highest sale price so far in 2012 in Idylwylde has been $322,000.  The average time to sell a home in Idylwylde in 2012 has been 99 days.  This is longer than the Edmonton days on market average of 52, but I wouldn't read too much into it as it is only based on 2 sales so far in 2012.  For … (0 comments)
