In late July 2009, Geographic Information Services, Inc. (GIS), an Alabama based company, retained Jason Tucker as their tenant agent to represent them in a transaction for the lease of office space in the I-275 & I-696 corridor area of Michigan. The requirement involved reviewing several available suites ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 SQ FT of office, flex and research and development space. After months of due diligence and negotiations with various landlords, and working in a long-distance capacity, Jason found the ideal space that would allow GIS to grow and expand their presence in the Michigan area. The requirement entailed being in close proximity, walking distance, to the downtown business district of Ann Arbor, Michigan, the space needed to include office furniture, have room to grow, and be affordable. The search included several available suites ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 SQ FT of office and research and development space. In mid September 2008, Integrated Communications Services (ICS), retained Jason Tucker as their tenant agent to represent them in a transaction for the lease of office space in the I-275 & I-696 corridor area of Michigan. The requirement involved reviewing several available suites ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 SQ FT of office, flex and research and development space. The space required an overhead door for mobile technicians and installation teams. After months of due diligence and negotiations with various landlords, a lease was signed and ICS moved into their new home in April 2009. ICS's new address is: Integrated Communications (0 comments)
During the second quarter of 2009, the Detroit industrial market continued to weaken. The third consecutive quarter of negative net absorption has added 7.3 million square feet of space to the market, 5.1 million square feet of which have been added in 2009. The vacancy rate increased to 18.0%, its highest level on record, from 17.1% in the previous quarter. The average asking rental rate fell in the second quarter to $4.25/sf from $4.37/sf reported during the first quarter, and is down 4.0% from $4.43/sf over the last year. A slight reprieve was seen in the Detroit office market in the second quarter of 2009. After six consecutive quarters of negative absorption, 69,244 square feet of space was removed from the market as the vacancy rate held at 22.5% from the first quarter. The vacancy rate is up from 21.5% one year ago and has remained above 20.0% for the past three years. The average asking rental rate fell in the second quarter to $19.75/sf from $19.90/sf at the end of the first quarter, and is down 2.4% from $20.24/sf over the last year. You can search for many different licenses, including: Accountants or Architects Professional Engineers, Investigators, or Surveyors Real Estate Sales & Real Estate Appraisers Residential Builders And many more... Make Sure Your Michigan Mover Has A License! - 10/01/09 12:34 AM
If you're planning to hire a moving company to move you within the state of Michigan, make sure the company you choose has a license from the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC). Recent changes in state law now require all intrastate household goods movers to have a license or "operating authority" from the MPSC. An intrastate mover is defined as one that operates only within the state. You can tell if an operator is licensed by looking for the required MPSC numbers and current year decal on the side of the truck's cab. The new state law has a number of (2 comments)
