new england patriots: Super Bowl the Road to Perfection: N.E. Patriots vs. N.Y. Giants - 02/02/08 06:36 AM
It's late in the game and the fans are in a frenzy as Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are marching down the field with ease. It's 3rd down and three, ball in Giants territory and Tom Coughlin and the Giants call time out.
Brady sets up in the shotgun as Randy Moss spreads left with Wes Welker in the slot and Laurence Maroney in the backfield. Brady takes the snap and drops back in the pocket. Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora put pressure on the pocket and Brady slips to the outside to evade Umenyiora. Strahan cuts off the … (56 comments)

new england patriots: Pats on the way to Arizona - 01/20/08 05:32 PM
Congratulations to the New England Patriots for a great victory over the San Diego Chargers. It may not have been pretty but a win is a win.
Brian Brady said he will be the only Brady dancing after this game. Brian you need to stick to your day job as football is not your forte. LOL
On to Arizona what a great finish. The video is a little dark, sorry.

new england patriots: Championship Sunday Pats vs. the Chargers - 01/20/08 02:18 PM
It doesn't get any better than this. This is Championship Sunday and there is only one more game after today. There are only 4 teams left and only 2 can advance. Who will it be?
See my prediction here.
I think the Patriots will beat the Chargers and the Packers will survive the Giants.
See you all in Arizona.

new england patriots: New England Patriots vs the San Diego Chargers, Who Will Go To The Super Bowl? - 01/19/08 11:23 AM
Last year I hit the nail on the head when the Pats traveled to San Diego for their Divisional match up to see who would go to the AFC Championship game against the Colts..
The 2007 season has seen the Pats go out and acquire some great new talent to stay toe to toe with the Indianapolis Colts.
They traded for Randy Moss and signed Wes Welker and Dante Stallworth to shore up the receiver crew. On defense they acquired Baltimore Ravens linebacker Adalius Thomas.
The Patriots played the San Diego Chargers in week two this season in what was billed as … (54 comments)

new england patriots: New England Patriots in Search of Sweet Sixteen "16" - 12/28/07 07:09 PM

The Patriots are one game away from "PERFECTION".  If they win tomorrow night they will  become the first team in NFL history to reach the pinnacle of 16 wins and 0 defeats in the regular season. (thanks Nate)
This game has brought a lot of discussion as to whether or not the New York Giants will or should rest their players for the playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
I think the Giants will play their hardest and their starters for at least the first half. If the Pats open the game up early and take a big lead look … (59 comments)

new england patriots: New England Patriots vs the Miami Dolphins - 12/23/07 09:22 AM
The quest for perfection continues today as the Pats take on the hapless Miami Dolphins at Gillette stadium this afternoon at 4:15 PM EST. The Dolphins are 1-13 and finally recorded their first victory last week against the Baltimore Ravens. They defeated the Ravens at home in front of many players from the 1972 undefeated season, that team went 17-0. Interestingly the Dolphins beat the Ravens by more points than the Pats did.
With the Dolphins finally garnishing a victory I believe other than pride they will be playing for a chance to preserve their franchise's record of 14-0 in 1972 … (28 comments)

new england patriots: New England Patriots vs. the New York Jets - 12/16/07 09:08 AM
The New York Jets take on the New England Patriots this afternoon in a game that should be lopsided. The Patriots bring a record of 13-0 to Foxborough and the Jets are 3-10 and this is billed as a grudge rematch.
Back in week one of the season the Patriots were caught video taping the Jets sidelines, coaches and the clock above. The NFL sent out a memo a couple of weeks earlier stating that this will not be tolerated and is against the rules. The Patriots had an employee on the sidelines video taping and the Jets security escorted him out … (20 comments)

new england patriots: New England Patriots vs. Pittsburgh Steelers - 12/08/07 08:24 PM

The New England Patriots 12-0 take on AFC North Division rival Pittsburgh Steelers 9-3 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass tomorrow at 4:15PM ET. This will be a great matchup as the high powered New England Offense takes on the rough and tough Pittsburgh Steelers number 1 defense.
Pittsburgh's defense has allowed only 155 points which ranks as the least amount of points scored against any one team so far this yr.
The Pats have given up only 209 points which ranks 5th in the NFL. The Pats are number one in Offense with 469 points scored with a point differential of 260 … (64 comments)

new england patriots: New England Patriots Best Offensive Team Ever? - 11/20/07 02:23 PM
I know a lot of people are saying this team the 2007 New England Patriots are the best offensive team EVER. You read it in sports sections and you read on blogs. A lot of these writers are not experts but they are anointing the Pats as the best ever.
Do you feel they are the best ever? I know they have only played 10 games and have 6 to go.
If someone like Bill Parcells told you they were the best ever what would you think? Well here is a video of what Bill Parcells says about this years team.

new england patriots: Patriots vs Colts Preview of the AFC Championship Game? - 11/04/07 09:51 AM
There comes a time in our lives when we get to witness history in the making and Sunday will be just that time. The New England Patriots will take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts.
Both teams come into this game undefeated, New England is 8-0 and Indy is 7-0. Much of the talk lately even around here is that New England has been running up the score against the teams they have defeated. What a joke you have got to be kidding me. Is this sandlot football we're talking about? NO, this is the NFL and should the … (35 comments)

new england patriots: New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys - 10/14/07 10:00 AM
This is being billed the game of the week by most sports analysts. Both the N.E. Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys are undefeated. They both sport a 5-0 record.
The Patriots are coming off a pretty good win over an underrated Cleveland Browns team. The Pats have scored an average of 36.4 points per game and 427.8 yards of total offense. This ranks them 1-2 in the league. What is even more surprising is they rank 3rd and 4th in rushing yards with an average of 155 yards per game. Pats have not been known for a great running team. Ranking 4th … (35 comments)

new england patriots: Monday night football Pats vs. Bengals - 10/01/07 06:30 PM
This 4th week of football will bring about a great game with a couple of flamboyant players on both sides of the ball.
The New England Patriots face off against the Cincinnati Bengals. One year ago today they faced each other and the Pats were victorious in that game as they will in tonights match-up too.
The Patriots picked up a few great players during the off season and have really bolstered their offense while solidifying their defense.
They picked up Randy Moss from Oakland and Adalius Thomas from Baltimore. Randy looks like a kid in a candy shop he seems … (24 comments)
