How about a multi-tasking plumbing clean out?  It's always good to see two things knocked out with one throw of a stone! 
If your drain should clog between the house and the street, in older homes there is a port on the main drain stack that a plumber can screw off to send down a snake to dislodge the obstruction.  Newer construction has such ports on all drain stacks and even one in the yard.
In this house, built in 1954, there is a sump pump, obviously installed in recent times as these were not in use in the 50s.

Sometimes things need to be investigated even when they are only slightly cracked and leaking.
This flip was "totally renovated."
The house was built in 1953, a VERY good year!
That means the house is strongly built, solid, probably still full of things done in ways they don't do today.  For instance, that drain line is cast iron, and empties into a larger tube that is both cast iron and concrete!  The clean out has been replaced so it is plastic, and new, but that is one solid assembly!  I always kid people and say their drain lines will probably survive … (20 comments)

What is a preposition?  My 8th grade English teacher, Miss Braun, taught me that a preposition was anything you can do to a house. 
What?  I mean, you can go inside, or be outside, over or under, beside or behind or in between, before or after, up and down.  All those kinds of words are prepositions.  They describe relation to a noun and govern it.
So, things you can do to describe your relation to a house would be a preposition.  How prescient since that is what I do today!
