In today’s real estate market we are seeing agents get super crafty when it comes to generating open house traffic. Agents, like Shirley Cunico, make sure that nobody driving by misses the house. She says she doesn’t do this on every listing, but sometimes, especially small side streets, you have to bring attention to drivers from the main road. What does she do? Creates a buzz by having 25 or more balloons in the front yard during the open house... Another RE/MAX agent schedules his open houses around the mass schedules at the local church. Our real estate world is changing ever so fast. As an example take this platform ActiveRain. IN the beginning this one one of a few real estate platforms to help consumers and agents alike get out a Blog. Now there are hundreds if not thousands of different choices. I see experts telling us what to do and what not to do ... and it changes every 4-6 months. Here is a tip that has worked for me. Instead of just blogging on information that is good spice it up by engaging your readers through contests.

Things are a lot more fun and engaging when folks are making things happen....being part of a BNI group you can see the positive energy in the room and the trend that the market is moving out of the hole it has been in for some time...
Of course there are many areas that are still hurting; however, the general theme is that the carpernter, plumber, electrician are all extremely busy which bodes well for the real estate market....
Attorneys, bankers, accountants all can benefit from this observation not to mention the real estate agent as well. (0 comments)
