parks and recreation: 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament in North Texas - 11/24/08 04:20 PM

I just received word that there will be a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on December 5th and 6th. They need at least 12 teams to register. Based on the turnout from the last 3 on 3 tournament in Frisco Square this should be a good event and worth participating in.
Where - Dallas Texins (13900 North Central Express Way)
Date - December 5 - 6
Cost - $100/team
Registration is due by December 1st.

Are you a fan of Basketball?

If you love basketball like I do, here is a great opportunity for you to play in a tournament for a good cause. This year is the 1st ever 3-on-3 basketball tournament which is being held in Frisco Square. The tournament is designed for anyone that fits the following description: Male or Female - Young or Old - Short or Tall. If you fall into one or more of those categories, than this might be the tournament for you.

Have you heard the news???
Frisco Parks and Recreation has released the lay-out to GRAND PARK, which will be located between Cotton Gin and Stonebrook, East of the DNT. The park has been described as being similar to Central Park in New York.
According to the Director of Parks and Recreation, Rick Wieland, 'the city will grow into this park over the next number of years and things will adjust accordingly.'
