texas home loans: Buying A Texas Home - What Documents Are Needed - 03/07/12 06:42 PM

Sometimes it seems the paperwork never stops when you are buying a Texas home or refinancing your existing Texas home. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, we send you loan disclosures that need signature (some of which 'appear' to say the same thing, but they don't).
Aside from the disclosures we send you, there will be additional documents which you will need to provide. Some of these documents include the following, however, additional documents could be needed:

texas home loans: You Are Qualifying For A Mortgage Payment, Not A Mortgage Balance - 01/09/12 09:21 PM

When you Pre-Qualify for a Texas mortgage, remember that you are qualifying for a payment, not for the loan balance.
When a buyer calls me for a Pre-Qualification Letter (also incorrectly called a Pre-Approval letter… because there is a HUGE difference in the two), I explain to them that they are actually qualifying for the payment and no so much the balance of the mortgage. During the call we will review the numbers in detail and I explain to the client that they qualify for a mortgage payment up to $XXXX.XX. I FINALLY created my own logo. Its something I tossed around for months but just could never come up with the right look, feel. Well, about 2-3 weeks ago something said "Just Do It" (and it wasn't Nike), but it was something I heard from Houston Raincamp - Art Williams 'Just Do It'.
This video is about 10 minutes long, but its SO worth watching if you have not done so before. Heck, its a good video, even if you have heard it before. This is part 2, because I have like this portion best.
