arizona: Prescott in Winter - 02/22/11 04:49 PM
Winter is almost here.  Winter always proves to be a challenging time for Realtors.  The influx of out-of- towners  goes down considerably.  On top of that, colder temperatures discourage people searching for homes.  So, what do we do as Realtors to keep things moving?  I am hiding in a closet till at least March.  No, not really.  I am doing what I always do, sell Prescott.  Prescott in winter is just as beautiful as summer or spring.  And nothing compares to the festivals in Prescott during the winter holidays.  Check out http://www.prescott.com/calendar for winter events in Prescott.

arizona: Elk Ridge Ski Area Near Prescott AZ is Awesome - 01/02/11 12:27 PM
Elk Ridge Ski Area is 65 miles north of downtown Prescott AZ.  Though Elk Ridge is not a major ski area it has some things to offer that other ski areas lack.  It is a perfect place for the casual skier. There are no crowded lift lines and several easy hills to practice on.
Snow here comes and goes.  So make sure you call ahead.  The base elevation here is 7500 feet and the top of the mountain is 8150.  For more info goto their website at http://www.elkridgeski.com/

arizona: TODAY IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF WHY PRESCOTT IS KNOWN AS "ARIZONA'S CHRISTMAS CITY" - 12/23/10 04:58 AM
Yes, this is a great time of year to be in Prescott.  We just recieved about two inches of snow and our mountains are white.  The entire town is lit up with Christmas decorations.  There are several Christmas events going on every day. Check out  http://www.cityofprescott.net/ for local events
Despite the fact that we got snow, it's pleasant to be outside.  I went for a bike ride this morning.  The air is cool but very crisp.  Come visit and soon you'll want to live here.  At least you'll be aware of a Realtor that loves this time of year.
