Last chance for charitable tax deductions.
Today and tomorrow.  That's it for those year end tax deductions.  Whether clothing, furniture, cash, or whatever you choose to donate, you have two days left.
Lines will be long at the local Goodwill or Salvation Army drop-off points.  A cash contribution online to your favorite charity will be the easiest route.

Take a few minutes toady and donate.  It's good for your wallet and your soul.

So, today many of us in North Carolina and Virginia are snowed in, or even worse, iced in.  Freezing rain throughout the area has caused hundreds of accidents, closed schools and businesses and caused major headaches for many.  You could wrap those Christmas presents, bake some cookies, or just sit by the fire sipping hot chocolate.
