Recently Allen Tate REALTORS, based in North and South Carolina released a new application for smart phones.  It is available on iphones and Android smart phones.  The app is optimized for phone screens.
It basically offers all of the same features as our web site.  There are several ways to search for homes, including map and criteria searches. You can as searches for our offices and agents.
There is also a contact form.

Does Zillow cause you problems?
I know it does for me.
When my sellers recently agreed to drop the price on their home, it was not as low as I felt it needed to be to move the home.  I am not a big believer in Zillow's pricing.  However, i did show them in order to help get the price down a bit more.  Of course, they were offended and would not go near that price.
On the other side of the coin, I have buyers quoting Zillow values and wanting to make rediculously low offers.  "Well, Zillow can't be wriong".  … (8 comments)

Weather is wreaking havoc for many sellers!
At first, I thought is was just my imagination, but the TV news confirmed it this morning.  We have had an abnormal amount of severe weather so far this spring.
In our area, we have been spared the tornadoes, but heavy winds, lightning and hail have caused quite a bit of damage.  Power outages as a result, have only made things worse.

Well, I should have known at 3:00AM, when that first monsterous thunder and lightning hit, It would be a long, rough night.  One of my greyhounds immediately started whimpering and pacing and kept me up for a good part of the night.

Luckily, my home escaped damage.  The wind and hail were quite strong at times.  Many others in our area were not so lucky.  There are still thousands without power, including traffic lights at many major intersections.  Trees and power lines are down everywhere and roads are closed across the area.  Some schools are closed and … (2 comments)

That's right, now is the perfect time to list your home for sale in Greensboro or Guilford County.  The grass has turned bright green.  The dogwoods and azaleas are almost in full bloom and the weather is finally warming up.  That's what curb appeal is all about.

US Government to ban Mercedes
AP today reported that President Obama will sign into law today, a law banning Mercedes vehicles from being driven on US streets.  This after an overwhelming vote from congress in favor.
Unnamed government sources, close to the situation report several defections of top Mercedes executives to Hyundai.  This has not been confirmed or denied by Hyundai.
