All indicators are pointing to a pretty good second half of 2011 for new construction. Predictions are for 30% growth. This is much better than expected, as most in the business were thinking more in the lines of 10%.
Inventory is finally come down enough and demand will begin to rise in the new year.
The builders who have managed to survive, must be smart about what and where they build. The McMansions are no longer in vogue. Smaller, well planned, energy efficiant homes are their future. Locations must be considered very carefully. … (0 comments)

It's time for a change...and to get back to doing what I do best.
Today will be my last day with Coldwell Banker Triad Realtors in Greensboro, North Carolina. I leave with mixed emotions. I was there for just under a year. It was a difficult year for me, as well as many in my office and many of you. But, that's not really why I'm leaving. I will miss the many friends and relationships made during my time here.
