Protect Yourself in a NYC Real Estate for Sale Transaction
At the beginning of this year, the New York Department of State hammered down the gavel that all NY Brokerage houses must comply with the signing of the NY State agency disclosure form by buyer, seller, renter, and/ or landlord, at first substantive contact.
Of course, Manhattan real estate brokers were up in arms. Ironically, this law that had been in effect since time and memorial but had never been enforced until now; and instead of learning how to use these forms correctly to protect everyone … (5 comments)
