Cell Phone Users - Pass This Info Along - 06/30/09 08:28 PM
Ok.....so after doing some research on-line, it seems that cell phone numbers are NOT going public, but can go on a DNC list if you are interested and want to prevent telemarketers from calling you.  You can only file a complaint against a telemarketer after your number has been registered for at least 31 days, but don't worry, your info isn't getting sold and the emails that read as below, are FALSE!
I received this email from a friend today:

Great Staycation Toy - Kever Bounce 'n' Playhouse with Water-slide - 06/28/09 10:43 AM

Cool Little Gadget! - Flip Mino HD Video Recorder - 06/25/09 12:36 PM
 

Aspiring to start getting into the world of video on my websites and blogs, I purchased a Flip Mino HD Video Recorder the other day at Best Buy.  This thing fits in my little girly dress pants pockets and is smaller than my Blackberry Curve phone.  It's design is sleek and sophisticated.  The only drawback is there is only a 2x zoom so your video has to be point and shoot, but I can life with that for the low cost of the product.  I can record up to 60 minues of high definition video, then take my Flip … (4 comments)

New Appraisal Home Valuation Code of Conduct Effective May 1st - 06/15/09 10:06 AM
Something all agents will need to be familiar with is the HVCC or the new Home Valuation Code of Conduct effective May 1st.  There has been some trouble in the past with appraisers working closely, maybe too closely, with mortgage professionals to value a property to what it "needs to be" rather than what it really is.  Some mortgage professionals would let the appraisers know how much the loan amount needed is and put pressure on appraisers to make that appraisal come out with at least that much in value.  Some appraisers wanting the business, would do whatever they could to … (2 comments)

I just waned to say Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband and partner, James!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!  James is turning 34 years young today and we have my sister coming over to watch the kids this evening for a special date night.  James was born on June 4th, 1975 and we actually met 6 years ago today on June 4th, 2003.  We married a month later on July 17th, 2003 and here we are today!  What an exciting blast it's been!  (And yes...lots of hard work!!!)  We now have 4 beautiful children, a challenging and rewarding business and more!  God is good.
