Congrats Willy Bear on Your Last Day of Pre-School!
Congratulations to my son, William! Today was his last day of pre-school for the year. Next year William will be attending a half day pre-school program to help him better transition into kindergarten the following year. Brookfield Elementary is a great school. I have 2 kids in the school system now and have been very happy with their teaching and ways of working with my children.

Halloween is a very special holiday in New England and Central Mass. There is no shortage of festivities and events to find this time of the year. Some of the most memorable ones are trips to Salem, MA, Fright Fest at Six Flags and trick or treating in the center of town in Brookfield.

Come and celebrate Fall in New Englandthis Saturday, October 10th from 10AM-4PM! Brookfield will be hosting it's annual Apple Country Fair located on the town common. Activities will include raffles featuring a beautifully community made quilt, live music, children's games, crafts and locally grown produce sales. This will be the 31st annual Apple Country Fair. There will be over 70 local crafters featured at the fair. The apple pie contest and raffles will all benefit the Brookfield Community Club, a local non-profit organization that is here to enrich our community.

Hailey Grace was caught red handed in the pantry closet last night stealing some rolled oats! LOL She looked so happy, like she hit the jackpot or something! She was even kind enough to offer some to me, but the only thing I could do was laugh and take a ton of photos to remember the moment. She'll be 1 in less than 3 weeks, I can hardly believe it!

James and I love to kayak, although we don't get to do it much having 4 small children and a business, but someday we'll do it again. Close to our home in Brookfield, MA is the Quaboag River that flows through the towns of Brookfield, West Brookfield, and Warren before it joins the Swift River and Ware River in Three Rivers, forming the Chicopee River. Now that's a LOT of rivers! The head of the river is located in Brookfield, starting at Quaboag Pond. It's a great place for white water kayaking and canoeing.
