Looking for something fun to do in Central Mass on Labor Day weekend?  Come and check out the 121st annual Spencer Fair in Spencer, MA.  The Spencer Fairis Central Massachusetts' largest fair and takes place September 4th - 7th.  General admission is $10/person and reduced to $7 if you purchase your tickets in advance.  Children under 7 are Free and ages 7-12 are $6 along with seniors.  You can purchase a weekend pass for $25 and parking is free!  Come enjoy the festivities such as a demolition derby, karaoke contests, rides and agricultural exhibits.  The Spencer Fair is one of … (1 comments)

This is an unofficial name for this great spot I take my kids to run wild.  I've never known it to have a name and can't find a website for it, but it is located near the Spencer Fairgrounds, and more specifically, on the corner of Meadow Road and Smithville Road very close to Routes 9 and 31.  If the weather is good, this the place to be with young children, perfect for ages 2-10.  The playground is separated into two parts, one area built for bigger kids with large swings, dinosaurs you can climb on and a large fort with … (3 comments)
