Buyers have many requests for their Denver home purchase besides how many bedrooms & bathrooms and even square footage.     The requests have been to be close to a park to walk the dog, or close to trails for biking or running.      In Denver we have it all, well, except for an ocean.

 
Buyers request to have mountains views.  The snow capped mountains are so magnificent.   You always know which direction you are going in Denver, as they are always in the West.

There are doctors now claiming all the time we spend too much time around electronics will give us Popcorn Brain.    Cell phones, computers, GPS, Ipads, etc. all emit waves that causes "Popcorn Brain".    They say that the structure of our brain actually changes physically.   Is it true - constant stimulation can activate dopamine cells in the nucleus accumbens, a main pleasure center of the brain?

Denver's weather today is just about perfect!     No more flying ash from the fires in Arizona, it is around 80 degrees, and clear blue skies!     I was fortunate to have an appointment up North of Denver today, and had to get these shots!      This is why we live in Denver!
 

From Arvada around Stanley Lake looking west, you can still see there are snow capped peaks.     They are still skiing at Arapahoe Basin!

 
Wouldn't you like to wake everyday with this view?  We have many homes with fabulous mountain views available!

Sales of $1,000,000 homes in the City & County of Denver were down over last month, but not by much.     There were 14 sales in April.    The average price inched up slightly from $1,365,667 to $1,369,333.      The average days on market increased from April to May.    This was due to three sales which remained on the market a very long time.   1,114 days for a home in Hilltop, 579 days for Governors Park and 538 days for Country Club.    This increased the days on market considerably for sales in May.

The Colorado Winefest will be held Thursday through Saturday 6/9-6/11 at the Shops at Northfield Stapleton.     This winefest will be the first held in Denver.  The similar Colorado Mountain Winefest is held in Palisades in September have now brought this fund raiser to Denver.
This fundraiser is for trade organization of grape growers and winemakers of Colorado: the Colorado Association for Viticulture and Enology (CAVE), a 501(c)6 non-profit organization. All funds will go towards education, seminars, research and equipment purchases to improve the grape growing and winemaking of Colorado wines.
