This being the first Memorial Day that I've commemorated since I've had a son, I think I've given more thought to it than in years past. My grandfather was in the Navy during WWII, and I think he was a great part of shaping my love for my country and our Military people. My grandfather has been gone for almost 5 years now, and I am looking for ways to pass what he gave me, not just to my son, but my other children as well. I want the celebration of this day to be a part of that. I am very thankful … (2 comments)
