buyers agent danbury ct: Buy what you can afford! - 05/02/12 01:45 PM
One of the most important to do when buying a home is setting a budget. After speaking to a mortgage broker or loan officer, they can tell if you can buy a home or not, and if so, how much they think you can spend. Look over not just the mortgage & taxes, but also utilities, homeowners dues, money needed for immediate updates or budgeting for future repairs, new furniture and what have you. On top of having money for your house, I advise clients to make sure they have money left over for all of their other things like having … (2 comments)

For example, a 2 bedroom 2.5 bath townhome at Kensington Woods, on Larson Drive, next to Exit 2 on I-84, close to the New York State Line, sold for $325,000. The same exact condo at Arlington Woods, located on Sienna Drive, near exit 8 on the east side of Danbury, sold for … (0 comments)

For single families homes in towns around Candlewood Lake plus Bethel,  inventory is averaging  7.5 months at the end of December 2009. This is the lowest point it has been in  2 years.  It is also interesting to note that in January 2009, inventory did swell up to a monthly sales supply of listings for 26 months.  The median  sales price has only decreased 8.5% since December 2007, and prices have gone up for the last 3 months.
