There are several apartment complexes in the Greater Danbury Connecticut area. These are different than condos or townhomes, as they are privately owned by an investment company, an LLC or a business group. Apartments are only rentals. They have different rules and regulations than condos. Some may allow short term leases and sometimes offer move in specials with lower than customary move in funds. They tend to have their own criteria for evaluating tenant applications, their own lease and pet rules & restrictions. When you own a condominium that you are considering purchasing an an investment property or have to relocate from your residnece and will be considering renting in the Greater Danbury area, you must obey your condominium rules and regulations for renting. There are some communities that don't allow owners to rent out their property at all. Others only allow a certain percentage of units to be rented, otherwise if they find out that you are violating that rule, there are consequences. I get an a lot of requests from people that are looking for a rental. Keep in mind, a lot of the properties that you see listed online my website are typically for sale with an occasional rental. I don't get an ongoing notice of properties that will be coming available ahead of time in several months. I am only aware of what is currently offered through the multiple listing service. Very few if any properties with an agent would consider a short term rentals or a month a month.

The other area that is in high demand is residential rentals. The few rental listings I have had this year, or in the last year and half,I have gotten great responses from the market. I have successfully rented property in under 2 weeks after the property hit the market. One thing to know when looking for a condo to buy or to rent is that there is no leasing or sales office. Only the new construction communities have their own on site sales force, and the people working are those offices are trained to sell the homes for the builder for the highest price & with the best terms and conditions. Condos for investment property?
Condos are a good opportunity for investors. There is no roof or exterior maintenance to worry about since they are being taken care of by the condo association. The only repairs that typically need to be done is servicing the furnace, air conditioner (if applicable) and hot water heater. Sometimes are things that need occasional work are the applicants in kitchen & plumbing. There are a couple things to consider:
