My wife and I had a final meeting with our estate attorney yesterday, and before taking her to the train for LA yesterday we stopped at our favorite breakfast place (they also do a terrific lunch) for a quick sandwich.
Parking in back of Cafe Elysa, I noticed the new wall mural - how could you not?! It may be "newish" since it's been a few weeks since I drove by. Regardless, I thought it was pretty cool, and it's another wonderful addition to the art scene in Carlsbad Village. … (7 comments)
We had breakfast this morning at our favorite place in Carlsbad Village, Cafe Elysa, before our beach walk.
Cafe Elysa has put a lot of effort, time, and money into their gardens for all to enjoy while dining outdoors within view of the beach, adding succulents in all sorts of containers as well as sprucing up their succulent garden. We thought this container was especially creative. Café Elysa in downtown Carlsbad Village is a great place for breakfast, especially on the weekends.
Within view of the ocean, along the coast road for great people watching, with terrific breakfast food and mostly outdoor seating to enjoy our terrific Southern California winter weather (sit by one of the firepits if you need to), Café Elysa is a favorite of mine, and lots of visitors and residents.
