We moved from New England to Carlsbad in the Spring of 2005, happy to have escaped the long cold, snowy winters of Boston. While we love the city, the weather in the winter leaves something to be desired. Many may disagree with me. But I have no regrets about leaving behind my snow shovel and ice scraper!
How fitting to share these photos, on the first day of Winter, from our house in Carlsbad back in March 2006 when a heavy sleet storm rapidly turned our green, pastoral yard and flowers into a winter wonderland. And here we thought (25 comments)
