The Southern California Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists (CRS) is pleased to announce that the 2-day CRS 206 Technology course will be offered in October.
CRS 206 Technology will be offered at the Santa Maria Association of REALTORS offices in Santa Maria, CA on October 5 and 6, 2011. The instructor will be Mike Selvaggio, a leading trainer for CRS and the NINJA courses, and former National President of CRS.

Press a Button and the Elevator Tells YOU Where to Go I'm at the Marriott in New Orleans for the Fall meetings of the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) this week. Cool place to be but not much time to enjoy the sights.
The elevators here are pretty sassy. You press a button and the elevator tells you where to go. Not in the literal sense...LOL.
You enter your floor number on the keypad and the system will tell you which of the 7 elevators (A through G) will be yours.

Southern California Chapter of CRS (Certified Residentail Specialists) is sponsoring a gathering during the California Association of REALTORS Expo (C.A.R.) which begins on Tuesday with Tech Tuesday and runs through THursday in Anaheim at the Anaheim Convention Center.

One of the largest REALTOR Trade Expos in Southern California, the San Diego Association of REALTORS (SDAR) Real Estate Expo, will be held on Friday April 23, 2010 from 9 am until 5pm.
The Expo will once again be held at the Town and Country Resort in Mission Valley (San Diego) at 500 Hotel Circle North, just off the 8 Freeway and east of the 5, and there will be a ton of exhibitors.

Our Southern California Chapter of CRS (Council of Residential Specialists) educational and networking meeting was held last Friday in the desert community of La Quinta. Our speaker was Gov Hutchinson, an attorney, who is a member of the California Association of REALTORS (C.A.R.) Legal hotline; he is also Staff Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for C.A.R.
Hutchison shared his thoughts on how the government bailout is affecting our real estate business; he also provided some specific updates relative to California laws and changes in some of our real estate forms (I'll share these later). Here are some learnings from his talk:
