The popular Carlsbad Snores and S’mores Family Campout is coming soon.
The 2023 Carlsbad Snores and S’mores Family Campout is Saturday and Sunday, August 12th and 13th at the Aviara Community Park located at 6435 Ambrosia Lane (just north of Poinsettia Lane).
The Snores and S’mores Family Campout takes place from 5 pm Saturday until 9 am Sunday (check-in and tent set up are from 4 - 6 pm). There is plenty of parking at the park. (images are from Pixabay).

2023 Aloha Plunge in Carlsbad is July 22nd
Come celebrate the 2023 summer season with the Aloha Plunge on Saturday July 22nd, from 5 to 8 PM.
The Aloha Plunge will take place at the Alga Norte Community Park Aquatics Center. Alga Norte Community Park is at 6565 Alicante Road, at the corner of Poinsettia Lane, in the La Costa area of Carlsbad.
The Aloha Plunge is limited to 500 attendees and registrations tend to go quickly. Indeed the event is almost 25% full today. The cost is $10 per person, with children ages 3 and under FREE (must be identified at check-out online).

Summer is just a few weeks away, which means a number of popular events in Carlsbad are almost here.
One long-time favorite is the annual Flicks at the Fountain series, hosted by the Carlsbad Village Association.
The Flicks at the Fountain are on 5 consecutive Thursday nights. The series starts July 6th and ends August 3rd.
Movies (rated G and PG) were decided by popular vote from residents.

Summer is not far off, which means a number of popular events in Carlsbad are headed our way.
One favorite is the annual Flicks at the Fountain series hosted by the Carlsbad Village Association.
This year the Flicks at the Fountain will be on 5 consecutive Thursday nights, not Fridays as in the past.

Typically there are 9 free outdoor concerts in 4 of our best parks on consecutive Fridays from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The 2019 Carlsbad Snores and S’mores Family Campout
Saturday and Sunday August 10th and 11th.
Carlsbad’s Snores and S’mores Family Campout will be at the Aviara Community Park in South Carlsbad from 5 pm Saturday until 9 am Sunday; check-in starts at 4 pm with tent set-up at 5. There is parking on-site.

The Carlsbad Music Festival takes place in Carlsbad Village on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. This music festival, the 16th annual this year, is very popular and offers both ticketed and free concerts over the 3-day festival.

No doubt for many Carlsbadians the free TGIF Concerts in the Parks are a highlight of summertime in Carlsbad, other than time at the beach. Indeed this outdoor concert series may very well be the best entertainment option around North San Diego County!
You can’t go wrong with a winning combination of great music, in one of our beautiful Carlsbad parks, on a Friday summer evening. And they’re FREE!! It doesn’t get much better than that!
