A few days ago I had a conversation with one of the mortgage guys who frequently drops by to visit our office.  Most of the time we discuss his new baby girl or his new home  or his dog, but this day was different.  We never discuss business since we've never worked together.  He told me that he had seen my info on Active Rain and asked what this place was all about.  Well, I don't think I've ever had such a long conversation with him, I started to feel bad that I was taking time away from him by babbling about how great it is to be out here and to learn so much from this network, to be involved with such a group of people, google rankings, you get the idea.   I took his business card and sent him an invite, just in case he really wasn't just humoring me.
