The Year of the Rat ho'olaulea at SALT at Our Kakaʻako, with a free community celebration, featuring a traditional lion dance, a martial arts demonstration, and more. 11/11/20 In the fine and venerable tradition of the Chinese Lion Dance, the lion and his cacophonous companions will parade through SALT at Our Kakaʻako, visiting retail shops, eateries, and other businesses in the complex. You can join in as a happy spectator or feed Lai donations (lucky money) directly into the gaping maw of the lion yourself, believed to bring prosperity to the feeder throughout the year.
