2010 proved to be a rebound year for sales of Lake Oconee lakefront single family homes, with 70 homes sold for an average price of $705,000, according to statistics compiled by the Lake Country Board of Realtors. That compares to 2009 sales of 55 homes and an average price of $587,000.
With some 218 homes actively on the market, its definitely a buyers market, but the steady rise in sales and comparatively few foreclosures indicate that the market has found its "legs" - the point at which buyers feel confident moving forward.
