Yesterday I woke up with a nasty ole cold, not sure where I may have picked it up, but so far it is sure a nasty one.  Sneezing, coughing, waterery eyes, and overall realy lousey feeling. Sure wish I knew a quick cure for all this, as I do not have time to just go to bed for the rest of the week.

Today was the most perfect day for soup.  The weather was cloudy and some rain and windy with a little nip in the air, and a bowl of good hot soup with corn bread tasted pretty good. I also like chile beans on a cool day. The next best thing is a fireplace and a good book or a movie.

Today we will be having our office Thanksgiving meal. We are expecting a large turnout of our agents and guest. We hope we will have enough food for everyone, and I am sure we will. If not I guess we can make a quick run to the grocery store or to a drive-throu.

Tonight I reached a personal goal of mine. I reached forty thousand points. A couple of months ago when I started on Active Rain, I would have not ever believer I could be here this quick. But it has been so easy. There have been days that I did not blog, but most days I did. It has been a fun ride.

Tonight was the first meeting of the new board of directors of our home owners association. I think we have our best group ever.
