85 y/o Quapaw Bath House Set to Reopen as Public Spa - 07/15/07 10:01 AM
Quapaw Baths, LLC hopes to start work in mid-August of this year on the 85 year-old Quapaw Bath House, which it plans to reopen in 2008 as a public spa.
"We'll be taking out the tiled cubicles and tubs that made up the old bathing experience, in anticipation of cutting out the floor and building our big pools, waterfalls, and fountains, " stated Anthony Taylor, one of the principals in the development company.

The celebration for 4th of July started early in Hot Springs.  Lots of tourists started rolling in last weekend, and they are still coming.  With all of the fireworks shows, the fun on the lakes, and plenty of other activities to do . . . Hot Springs is a great place to be! 
Today's weather forecast calls for a few more scattered showers this afternoon with the temperature up to 87 degrees.
