The level of for-sale-by-owner transactions remains at a record low, according to the just-released NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® 2007 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers.

I recently had a buyer ask me about a property that is listed in my local Board in Lansing Michigan for $185,000. The property is being auctioned off at a minimum bid of $129,500.
