This is my first day on Acive Rain.  I'm new to blogging but I'm willing to give anything a try.  Maybe, just maybe I can be the be the next blogging dynamo. 

So what do I need to know?  Can I blog about anything?  I was considering posting the weather forecast for Charlotte very day to get my points up.  Just kidding but I have read some post like that on the site.  I hope to bring my unique perspective to the web regarding all of the exciting changes happening here in Charlotte.

People are moving here to Charlotte in droves.  They're coming for our great weather, quality of life, high incomes, and affordable housing.  We've been fortunate here to not have been hit hard by a slowing housing market or significant drops in value.  We're looking forward to another record year, regardless of what happens in the local or national markets. 

So here's to being new!
