If you're looking to spice up your love life, buying a home might be the way to do it.
In a recent survey by Trulia, more than 1/3 of women said they would rather date someone who owns a home rather than rent. Nearly 20% of men agreed.
Roommates can also be a deal-breaker in the dating world: 62% of people questioned said they prefer dating people who live at home.
The takeaway from the survey is this: In addition to building wealth and stability, home ownership can also help your love life significantly.

As if the beautiful coastline and mild climate aren't enough reasons to move to Maine, here's one more: 77 % of homeowners in the Northeast are satisfied with their home ownership, compared to the nation average of 72%.
